1. Lemon water

The lemon juice in lemon water helps lower bad cholesterol levels and is great for cleansing the liver. The citric acid assists in digestion by breaking down food molecules. It additionally supports digestion and helps in detoxification. Lemon water also contains vitamin C, which works together with iron to help fight off infections and boost immunity. The best way to prepare lemon water is simply squeeze fresh lemons into a glass of room temperature water and let sit for 15 minutes before drinking. You might add some honey, whenever wanted.

 2. Green tea

Green tea is loaded with antioxidants, which means it helps protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are unstable oxygen molecules that wreak havoc on healthy cells and can lead to cancer, heart disease, and premature aging. Antioxidants neutralize these damaging compounds, preventing them from causing harm. To make green tea at home, steep 2 bags of green tea leaves in 1 cup of hot water for about 5 minutes. Let cool, then strain the liquid. Drink immediately. Green tea has high amounts of anti-inflammatory catechins and caffeine, along with vitamins B1, B2, and B6. A study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry showed that flavonoids (a type of antioxidant) had potent inhibitory effects on fat accumulation in animals fed a high-fat diet.

 3. Ginger Tea

Ginger is packed full of gingerols, which have been shown in studies to reduce inflammation and increase metabolism. Ginger is a natural remedy for nausea, motion sickness, indigestion, headaches, anxiety, cardiovascular problems, diabetes, colds, flu, arthritis, and many types of pain. You can brew fresh ginger tea by boiling 2 cups of water, slicing fresh ginger into thin strips, letting the slices steep until soft, straining, and serving. Or use powdered ginger instead. Take three times per day, and drink warm.

 4. Watermelon Juice

Watermelon juice is a hydrating treat that's jam-packed with fiber, and it also contains lycopene, an antioxidant that may help prevent certain cancers. Simply cut the rind away from the fleshy pink portion of the fruit, place the two pieces in a juicer, and run it through several times to get the juice. If using a blender, you'll need to peel first. Strain the juice and serve over ice cubes, straight up, or mixed with sparkling mineral water.

 5. Yogurt Fruit Smoothie

Yogurt smoothies aren't just delicious--they're also good for you. Studies show that consuming yogurt regularly may actually be associated with a reduced risk of obesity and metabolic syndrome. Add fruits like strawberries, blueberries, kiwis, apples, bananas, peaches, pears, mangoes, plums, oranges, apricots, nectarines, cherries, and pineapple to a blender, then blend until smooth. Top with granola or berries, and enjoy!

 6. Beet Juice

Beet juice is packed with powerful antioxidants called betalains. Betalain pigments, found in beets, carrots, red peppers, and chard, provide protection against free radical damage. Beets also offer natural nitrates and phosphates, which improve blood flow and oxygenation throughout the body. In addition, beet juice is rich in folate and dietary fiber. Blend raw beets with a few inches of water in a blender and run it through a juicer to extract the juice. Serve chilled.

 7. Carrot Juice

Carrots are a fantastic source of beta carotene, which supports eye health and immune function. Additionally, they contain lutein, zeaxanthin, and alpha lipoic acid, which can help maintain vision. Carrots also contain polyphenols, an antioxidant that fights the effects of oxidation. Mash the flesh of 4 medium-sized carrots together in a small bowl, cover with a lid, roll around to mix everything up, and then let stand for 30 minutes. Place the carrots in a juicer and run them through several times to get carrot juice. Alternatively, you could mash the whole thing up with a fork and take it that route.
